The internship program at The Harry Fox Agency offers both undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn about the music publishing business from the publisher’s perspective. Interns work alongside HFA employees and produce quality work by assisting employees with their day to day responsibilities and working on multiple projects.
The summer internship program is a comprehensive full-time, 10-week program where interns learn the nuts and bolts about the music publishing industry. Interns are exposed to HFA’s core business model and assist with issuing mechanical licenses, collecting and distributing royalties and responding to general client inquiries. Interns earn a stipend upon completion of the program.
The fall/spring internship program is a part-time program that lasts the duration of the fall/spring semester. Students work 12-15 hours per week and earn college credit upon completion of the program. Students must attend a college or university that provides college credit for completing an internship program during the fall or spring semester and students must be eligible to receive college credit.
The legal department at The Harry Fox Agency offers an internship for students entering their 2nd and 3rd year of law school who are interested in working in the music industry (priority is given to 3rd year students).
